  1. Yeah, there was a lot of bad moves from corporate at Sega that led to their demise. I know that the VMU is a sort of mini portable gaming device, but it’s just a bad idea. No need to make your memory card do all that stuff, it’s not really what consumers wanted (as the market showed).

Gotta admit sega dreamcast was a flop

  3. oh and you don’t have to modify to play burned games. that is one reason it failed because it was so easy to do it. having a few failed consoles didn’t help either like the segacd,32x, and saturn which was released early with no realy games for a few months and Stolar is remembered for remarking at the 1997 E3 that the “Saturn is not our future” and also for stating that “there is no more Tekken” during a televised interview.. can’t forget that he didn’t want any rpg’s too which was bad too.

  4. the vmu is a lot more then a memory card. it is a portable game system too and there are games you can play on it. you can have 2 vmu’s in one controller if you want to too. you don’t need the battery to have it work in the controller. only if you take it out and want to use it. the vmu also shows stuff on the screen in the games too. like health and stuff. the dreamcast is not dead it is still better then what is out now. there are like close to 250 games jsut in USA. a lot more in japan.

  5. you do know there is a broadband adapter too if you can find one. there is a vga box for this too to hook up to computer monitors or tv’s with vga port and it is as good as component to me or close i think. the dreamcast controller is made after the Saturn 3d pad i think and microsoft kinda copied it if you look at them.

  6. Yeah. I’ve done a few Dreamcast reviews already.

  7. You have a Dreamcast. Great! Does this mean you are going to show some games on it?

  8. yeh l1games are quite close friends of ours.. i won the comp b4 last,, and i helped judge this last comp he held…\come on by our channel sometime and maybe we might be one of ur faves too ?…heres hoping..

  9. dommiesan and L1 games r one of my favs

  10. Sorry. Nice channel BTW. I just subbed.

  11. u might want to check out L1Games’s vid about looking after you dc.. theres an interesting segment about looking after the disk drive and what u can do to make it quieter.. remember the poor thing is over 10 years old if ur American. (10 years today if u an aussie like me) so the lube on the laser has been well worn off…

  12. looks like u just beat me..
we just spent the last month working on the dreamcast episode and u pipped me by only 6 hours…
oh well.. dems the breaks aye…

  13. Nice! I have the dreamcast, but do not play games on it anymore. it is just in a box, getting old.

  14. yea they are awsome

  15. Thanks, I’ve have to look into it and give it a try.

  16. Who doesn’t love Classic Game Room?!

  17. good stuff,,,classic game room much?

  18. Normal CD-Rs will work, and I think you can use DVD-Rs also, you have to burn them with discjuggler or something similar.
Make sure it’s a self boot and your good to go.

  19. I did not know that. I’ll have to burn a disk and try it out. Do you need to burn on GD-Rom, or will a CD-Rom work?

  20. just saying, dreamcast forever

  21. I know that…he misspelled emulators…thats why I corrected him

  22. the dc can play most older systems on emulator, that means the dc has over 2000 games unlike the newer systems

so yeah maybe when the homebrew scene comes in 10+ years for ps3/wii/xbox 360 it will be good but until then nope, few games, only good online, no replay value….so yeag dreamcast is better .D

  23. oh yeah the dreamcast ruled….wait…let me rephrase that…The Dreamcast RULES

  24. uhhh….you mean emulators?

  25. i love the dreamcast.i have 2 of them
